NCLS Annual Meeting In-Person
For the first time since 2019, join us in person for the NCLS Annual Meeting! After a brief welcome from NCLS board and staff, we'll dive right into our keynote address, presented by AnnaLee Dragon, the new Executive Director of the New York Library Association (NYLA).
AnnaLee will give an overview of what NYLA does as an organization, with a focus on the importance of legislative advocacy for libraries of all sizes. AnnaLee will highlight tools and tips for everyday advocacy, offering best practices for crafting your library’s story in a compelling way from both trustee and staff perspectives.
After lunch, we'll have an encore presentation of Board Meeting Theater, where our fearless cast will tackle best meeting practices, open meeting law, sticky library issues, and more!
