Money Talks: Six Mini-Sessions on Library Finances In-Person
At NCLS we get a lot of questions about library funding and finances. Whose job is it to develop a budget? What are best practices for cash handling? Do we need an audit? How much involvement should our municipaility have with the library's finances? And what it amounts to is: How do we do all this money stuff, anyway?
Join us at the Sackets Harbor Ballroom in beautiful downtown Sackets Harbor for a half-day, in-person session on library finance. We'll cover:
- The Role of the Treasurer
- Budgeting for Beginners
- Minimizing Risk through Effective Policies
- Accounting Best Practices
- Construction and Capital Funds
- Putting the Fun in Fundraising
This is a perfect opportunity for library trustees (and directors!) to make sure that the library's financial health is in mint condition. Sign up today!
